Terms of Sale

The purchasing process with Iberian Sports Horses (ISH) involves key financial commitments, deadlines, and responsibilities structured around the contract and the horse’s safety.

Financial Commitments & Deposit

Reservation Fee: A €500 deposit is required upfront to secure the horse and cover the cost of the veterinary inspection.

Proceeding with Purchase: The €500 deposit is fully deducted from the final purchase price if you move forward.

Canceling the Purchase: The €500 fee is forfeited to the seller if you back out for any reason after the veterinary exam.

Payment Deadlines & Finalizing

Contract Phase: A standard purchase agreement is formally drawn up at the start of the transaction.

Balance Due: The remaining purchase balance must be paid within two days after you approve the veterinary inspection results.

Full Payment Rule: No horse is permitted to leave the premises or transfer ownership until the balance is cleared in full.

Post-Purchase Costs & Transport

Buyer Responsibility: You assume all ongoing costs (feed, farrier, boarding) immediately after the final payment is made.

Continued Training: Post-purchase boarding and professional training is available at a fixed rate of €800 per month.

Transport Logistics: The buyer is solely responsible for selecting, booking, and funding the transport company.
